Great ENT office
I was referred to Rancho Ear Nose and Throat by one of the Scripps Audiologists. I was diagnosed with a perforated eardrum and needed to see an ENT immediately. I was able to get the audiology exam but getting in to see the ENT would be 3 months out. I was traveling to Europe in a few weeks and really needed help. Thankfully, after calling Rancho ENT, I got an appointment with Dr. MacEwan within a week. She proceeded with the treatment for the infection and gave me strict instructions for my travel to Europe. She continued with my care upon returning from Europe waiting for my ear drum to heal. It ultimately resulted in surgery to repair the eardrum structure. I am so thankful for the team at Rancho ENT, especially the care I received from Dr. MacEwan. She is professional but personable, knowledgeable and caring. She listened to my concerns and always gave precise instructions on how to manage my ear issues. She did a great job with my surgery to ensure success with the Tympanoplasty procedure. I couldn’t be happier with the care I received and Dr. MacEwan’s prompt attention to my perforated eardrum. Highly recommend Rancho ENT! Thank you Dr. MacEwan and the Rancho ENT team!!
Dr. MacEwan is amazing! I’ve been suffering from sinus issues for 7 years, and they’ve always been dismissed as allergies. I got a CT scan here and Dr. MacEwan explained the scan to me which was cool to see. My left maxillary sinus was fully opaque and needed surgery. I had never had surgery before, and was really worried and had tons of questions. Dr. MacEwan not only did amazing with the surgery (my recovery was way faster than I expected, I felt pretty much normal after 5 days), but was also very patient with all my questions and concerns! I’m also not a huge fan of having to rely on daily meds like nasal sprays, and she was understanding and willing to work with this. The staff at Rancho ENT are also very friendly and easy to work with! I highly recommend this clinic and Dr. MacEwan!
The staff is friendly yet direct. They adapt to your needs by reminding you of important habits to build. They do a throughout evaluation and focus on solving ear problems long term not jjst through drops. Super clean as well!
AMAZING customer service We were visiting from out of town and experienced a problem with one our hearing aids. Lisa went way beyond helpful in solving our problem allowing us to enjoy the rest of our vacation. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
Lisa at the front desk is Very helpful even if you didn’t buy your hearing aid there. They’ve just been bought so are no longer AHS.

At first I was nervous about taking a hearing test. I chose Dr Stephanie Slali at Advanced Hearing Solutions in Poway because of her great reviews. Dr. Slali made me feel comfortable right away. She explained the test before I got in the booth and the test was easy. Lisa in the front office was also very nice and knowledgeable. I like their choices of hearing aids for different budgets and I like that they can check them remotely.
I’ve been here twice recently and both visits were fantastic. The staff are friendly and professional. Dr. MacEwan is awesome! I highly recommend her and this office.
