I got a CT scan here and Dr. MacEwan explained the scan to me which was cool to see. My left maxillary sinus was fully opaque and needed surgery. I had never had surgery before, and was really worried and had tons of questions. Dr. MacEwan not only did amazing with the surgery (my recovery was way faster than I expected, I felt pretty much normal after 5 days), but was also very patient with all my questions and concerns! I’m also not a huge fan of having to rely on daily meds like nasal sprays, and she was understanding and willing to work with this. The staff at Rancho ENT are also very friendly and easy to work with! I highly recommend this clinic and Dr. MacEwan!

Her staff was friendly when I arrived but the hearing test was a frightening experience. The audiologist put head phones on me to do the test. The sound of my heart beating was so loud I couldn’t hear the sounds. I felt like I was having a heart attack! She redid the test with ear plug instead. They took my blood pressure which was normally 120 but it had jumped to 167!
Dr. MacEwan came in and yelled so loud it hurt my ears. She looked in my ears and found no infection. I told her I was constantly having ear aches and sore throats and I thought it was from cold weather so was wearing a cotton ball in my ears and a cap at night. I already knew I had mild hearing loss in my ears. She did not want to do a throat test but I insisted. She did a test through my nose and was very rough & found no infection. She was acting very rude to me. I asked her what I should do about my ear hurting all the time. She said in a very loud nasty voice: “wear the cotton balls & cap at night and get a hearing aid and wear it!!!”
I have never been so upset after any visit to any doctor even when I was diagnosed with cancer. After thinking why, she would act like she did, it seems she wants to have patients who have very serious ear and throat issues and need expensive operations so I was a waste of her time. I am sure she treats this type of patient decently as she has the training and skills and equipment. C. J. R. San Diego 3/19/2026

You can look forward to a comprehensive visit; bc he also connects other possible health concerns that could be contributing to the problem at hand.

The doctor took my infection seriously and patiently explained my options. He is a respectful and informative doctor. I’m doing a lot better now and am glad I didn’t delay in being seen by him. Also I never have to wait more than two minutes in the waiting room. Added bonus is that lot of their testing is in-house. Highly recommend.

It may not be pleasant having a camera inserted down your nose but he makes it as painless as possible. He has the best demeanor and evaluates the situation very thoroughly in a manner you can understand. He has performed surgery on me in the past and I've never trusted anyone more. He's gentle, kind, knowledgeable, and very thorough. His care is amazing from start to finish. His office and nursing staff is the best. The office is always kind, understanding and supportive. Then I read an AARP article which said "when it comes to hearing aids, you really need an audiologist." Costco only has technicians. Dr Stephanie Sally saw that my hearing test required a visit to an ENT doctor who recommended an MRI which ruled out complex nerve problems. Technicians were not able to read my hearing test that deeply. Over the years we have been well taken care of by Dr. Stepaanie and Lisa. All our problems such as remaking an ear mold have Benn taken care of quickly, and the extra devices we needed were very reasonable in price. It pays to see the best people and advanced hearing solutions has the best you will ever find.

Rancho ENT brings back the quintessential simple doctors office experience and charm that is missing in the US healthcare system. (knowledgeable and great bedside manner). Excellent experience from front to back. I have been in the San Diego healthcare market for over 25 years and this specialty practice is top notch. It has elements of service you see in concierge type practices. My son will be seeing him for sinus and allergies.

I'm able to breathe now throughout my nose and not from my mouth. The service was not just great but wonderful the nurses are amazing always friendly and helpful. I recommend this office with all the staff because from having already one surgery with a different doctor I thought that the results were normal, however after doctor Ashish Wadhwa helped me I really started living.

Then went to Advanced Hearing Solutions and wow, what a difference. Doctor Stephanie Slali was my doctor. She was friendly, patient and and very professional. In the first visit she had me hearing better. Then she saw me two more times and each adjustment brought my hearing back so well that I could finally understand what people were saying without having to ask them to repeat. On top of all that, they are so very reasonable! I can't say enough about what a great Doctor and what a great staff. Even if you have to travel many miles to see them.... What is your hearing worth? Dr. Wadhwa took great time addressing all my ear problems. Explained all my options and gave suggestions. He was very thorough. I will be going back to review the results after my tests come in. I am still amazed how much time he took with me. His staff was exceptional also. Very friendly and accommodating to my schedule. I would give 6 stars if I could. I went to another ear doctor at Eisenhower in Palm Springs and nearly saw the Dr. For 7 minutes and was told to come back in 3 months. The difference was like night and day between the two.

They are not very helpful, extremely slow on getting anything done, you have to wait and wait for an appointment, they never have any available then say they will squeeze you in, which is nice of them but never seems to work out, between changing the day of your appointment, then being mad you have a different day noted, rescheduling, or cancelling on you, I think they are just too busy to care about their patients. If you value your time and health go elsewhere. The office manager is demeaning and obviously doesnt care about the patients predicament. Go somewhere that values its clientele and acts like it.

I was recently given a referral to Dr. Wadhwa and went for a consultation. Wow! What a great experience. From the delightful staff, super clean office, to the exceptional professionalism of Dr. Wadhwa. He took his time to explain in "average Joe" terms how my breathing worked, in great detail. He was very thorough and covered all the possible options. He then proceeded to give me some home tests to try to help decide on the best procedure. I could not be happier with this entire office and highly recommend Dr. Wadhwa and his staff.
